Profile

What you store about yourself, and what connected applications can receive.

Open Profile from the sidebar. It holds two groups: the identity shown to connected applications, and personal details kept for your own record.

What applications receive

Connected applications never get your whole profile. They receive only the claims covered by the scopes you approved at the consent screen:

ScopeShared
openidA stable identifier for your account, and nothing else.
profileName, username, profile picture.
emailEmail address, and whether it is verified.

Your address, phone, date of birth and bio are not exposed through any current scope. They stay on your account.

Photos

  • Images are uploaded to your account and served from it, not from a third party.
  • The profile photo is shared with applications holding the profile scope.
  • Removing an image takes effect immediately; applications that already cached it may keep showing the old one for a while.

Changing your email

Your email is the identifier you sign in with and the address that receives security alerts, so it is not self-service. Contact an administrator to change it.
